This 40-acre development is located on a wooded hillside in Bothell, close to a university branch campus and office park complex. With fully one quarter of the site set aside as a woodland preserve, the 268 unit, moderate income project, was based on building types specifically designed for hillside conditions. The downhill flats, are set on the hillside to accommodate a 9 foot grade change. Each unit has its own entry and garage giving a direct connection into the unit. Primary living spaces are oriented to the "low" side of hill, giving views of the surrounding valley to all residents. The sidehill townhomes, were designed to step down the hillside to accommodate a 6 foot change in grade. Each unit has its own entry and garage, with primary living spaces oriented to the undisturbed woodland areas.
